My journey to Agape Life-Counseling
My path to counseling began with over two decades in special education, where I witnessed the struggles and incredible resilience of students facing diverse challenges. This experience ignited a deep professional commitment and personal calling to create Agape Life-Counseling By Roxy. I believe God has entrusted each child with unique gifts, and my role is to help uncover those gifts, nurture emotional health, and guide students toward confident, purposeful living.

The name 'Agape' represents unconditional, selfless love – a love that sees beyond immediate challenges and believes in the God-given potential within every person. My counseling approach in Mission, Texas, is profoundly grounded in this belief. Every child is created with purpose, every struggle carries the possibility of growth, and every family deserves unwavering support, guidance, and hope. I strive to foster environments where students can build strength, confidence, and purpose.

With over two decades of educational experience, my background is robustly supported by extensive certifications. I am a Certified School Counselor (EC–12) and hold certifications in Special Education (EC–12, Bilingual), Generalist (EC–4), Generalist (Grades 4–8), and Supplemental Spanish (EC–12). This broad expertise allows me to effectively support students across all developmental levels, academic abilities, and linguistic backgrounds, including offering meaningful and culturally responsive bilingual services for Spanish-speaking families.
